Building with the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

We value everything that the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter brings to our motorhome builds and know that our customers do too. High quality, craftsmanship, reliability and luxury are what sets the Sprinter apart and they have always been our starting point at RP over the last decade. With an extensive range of upgrades and extras you can specify a vehicle exactly as you want it.

You’ll see exactly what’s possible when you design your dream van using our configurator.

Habitation Highlights

The Rebellion comes as standard as a 2 berth, all electric cooking model with our signature elevated lounge and a side facing front lounge. This gives you a versatile and very well appointed starting point to add in whatever features you want to prioritise for your dream build. In it’s standard form it is very well suited to touring and overnight stops at fully connected sites.

Want the flexibility to have gas cooking? Want the independence that comes full off-grid capability? Want extra fridge space, air-conditioning or to take advantage of our latest RP Smart Assist? We’ve got that covered and a whole lot more besides.

New Super High Roof Design

The new roof design includes a flat surface ready to attach the awning to, expanding capacity in the adjacent roof space for storage. The front surface shape incorporates the previous front spoiler to direct airflow up and around roof mounted fixtures.

All Electric Cooking as Standard

Ideal for site-based travel, the new electric galley includes a dual induction hob, an 85-litre compressor fridge, and a versatile oven housing — perfect for an air fryer or other compact appliances. This set-up removes any need to depend on gas providing a weight saving and efficient way to cook.

If you really want gas, the hob and oven enclosure can be fitted with gas appliances and all necessary tanks and control systems added.

The oven enclosure can also be fitted with a microwave or convection oven if you don’t want to supply your own air fryer.

Rebellion Habitation Options

RP Smart Assist

Turn on your welcome lights via your mobile, set the nighttime heating and lighting mode with a single voice command, “Night mode,” and get alerts to your iPad app and email for frost, low battery, and much more.

Our design ethos has always been about creating simplicity and clarity, so being able to combine and refine the control and information systems for our users is a massive step forward.

RP Smart Assist is a major focus for development for us, so watch this space! Here’s a little taste of what you can expect.

The Home Screen

Providing all the immediate essentials with space for any alerts that require owner intervention. Optional generator power is available for the Rebellion and included as standard on the Rebel Raid mode; the diesel engine provides a 5kW power supply when you’re disconnected from the grid and don’t want to use your batteries for high load activities like cooking.

Always on, monitoring and providing what you need to know.

The beauty of RP Smart Assist is in what it doesn’t tell you. Designed for motorhome users by motorhomes users you see what’s important, helpful and useful. Nothing more. Nothing less.

We’ve refined the hardware and systems within our motorhomes to take advantage of their wireless capabilities allowing us to bring all the necessary control and information together in our RP Smart Assist.

Systems like heating, lighting, hot water, electrics, and gas, that make motorhome living so enjoyable are accessible from your iPad, mobile device, or even more easily, your voice.

Heating and Hot Water

With optional Air Conditioning system shown, you’ve got access to everything to do with controlling temperature in your motorhome. Current and target temperatures are shown together with the ‘time to hot’ for the hot water showing when your shower will be ready. The frost protect system is available on the Rebellion and take advantage of the installed trace heating to protect the grey water tank.

Front Lounge Options

  • Front or side facing lounge

Enjoy a spacious and open layout with our standard side-facing lounge. Ideal for relaxing, socialising, or stretching out after a day of exploring, this configuration maximises the airy feel of your living area with a view and access straight out the side opening door. This option can include the additional Avtex AV195TS, 18.5” HD Smart TV recessed into the side of the wardrobe.

If you prefer a more traditional setup? Opt for our forward-facing lounge at no extra cost. This layout offers a more structured seating arrangement, perfect for mealtimes, work stops, or enjoying the view ahead.

  • +2 Belted front lounge

For those who need additional travel and sleeping options we offer a Rebellion with a 4 berth option.

The extra space is provided by adding a forward facing belted front lounge. These seats reconfigure to provide an additional berth while a fourth transverse berth can be created using a cabbunk® which is better considered as a child’s sleeping area. This requires minimal additional fixings and benefits from keeping the same cab storage space as the standard Rebellion.

Electrical Upgrades for Off-Grid Living

The core of the off-grid experience is the ability to take your leisure battery power and convert it to a mains 240V supply to run all the everyday devices that make up our modern lives. To make this possible you’ll need an inverter, a larger battery capacity and easy ways or recharging your batteries via solar or a second alternator.

We have two different systems, the 12V Off-Grid and the 24V Advanced Power Management depending on your needs.

  • 12V Off-Grid System

This very capable off-grid power upgrade provides electrical independence for short trips through an uprated battery system and the all important Multiplus inverter/charger. Time off-grid can be extended using solar panels to provide top-up power.

    2 x 200A Victron Lithium Battery
    Victron Multiplus inverter/charger 3000VA
    2 x 50A DC/DC charger

  • 24V Advanced Power Management

The ultimate off-grid power upgrade provides electrical independence through a massively uprated battery system coupled with 5kW of power generation via the vehicles’ diesel engine.

Engine front power take-off with bracket for additional alternator
    Variable electronic engine speed control
    2 x 200A 24V Victron LiFePO4 Battery
    Victron Quattro inverter/charger 8000VA
5kW Power generator with additional alternator
    100A Buck Boost
